Tanga Tanga Club is a product owned and operated by Kejani Garage Limited, a company registered in Kenya since 2023 ("Kejani Garage", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website tangatanga.club and use our services.

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, book an experience, apply to sell on the Platform, or use our community features. This includes:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and payment information.
  • Account Information: Username, password, and profile details, including interests and membership tier.
  • Booking Information: Event and experience bookings, preferences, and transaction history.
  • Host & Affiliate Information: If you apply to sell on the Platform, we collect business details, bank code, account number, and account name, which are used to create and manage a Paystack Subaccount so you can be paid directly for your listings. See Section 4 for how this is shared with Paystack.
  • Community & Game Data: Chat messages, comments, shared content, group memberships, reactions, and game scores/results you generate while using the Platform.
  • Moderation Records: If your account is restricted for violating our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, we retain a record of the restriction and the reason for it.
  • Communication Data: Messages, feedback, and support requests.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Process bookings and payments securely through Paystack, including splitting payments between the Platform and independent Hosts where applicable.
  • Review and approve applications to become a Host, Affiliate, or to create a community interest group.
  • Operate community features such as chat, comments, content sharing, and games, and moderate them in line with our Community Guidelines.
  • Send you confirmations, updates, and promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests.
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience.
  • Protect against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity, including restricting accounts that violate our rules.

4. Payment Processing & Host Payouts

We use Paystack as our payment processor. Payment information is transmitted directly to Paystack and is not stored on our servers. Paystack adheres to PCI DSS compliance standards. We do not store credit card details or other sensitive payment information.

If you are an approved Host, the bank details you provide are shared with Paystack to create a Paystack Subaccount in your name. When a customer pays for your listing, Paystack automatically splits the payment — our commission is retained by the Platform, and the remainder is settled directly to your linked bank account by Paystack. We do not hold or transfer these funds ourselves.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third parties who assist us in operating our platform (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing, including sharing Host bank details with Paystack as described in Section 4).
  • Other Members: Content you post in chat, comments, interest groups, or shared cards is visible to other signed-in members of the Platform (and, for public groups, to any signed-in member), consistent with our Community Guidelines.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
